safari: confirm box requires 2 clicks

when I click on Ok or cancel on Confirm box nothing happens on first click. The first clicks propagates and reacts on to underlying window
It works for second clicks. how can I resolve it.

OK, I fixed the title for you.

Windows or Mac? On my Macs, I do not see this problem at all.

Sounds like the browser would be out of focus. First click brings browser into focus and than the second click is the normal click.
