Hey!
Finally after weeks of preparations I took exam, my score is 65% Let me post some thoughts/advices:

- Exam is tough, take it seriously!
- Passing score is 42%
- Amount of knowledge to learn is huge, make sure You have enough free time to learn without rush
- Almost all questions ask for 2 answers, read them carefully
- There's not much java code, just few questions related to JAX-R, JAX-P, SAAJ, handlers
- Few questions with XML schema and WSDL defs.
- Lots of JAX-R/UDDI questions
- Make sure you know benefits/disadvanteges of EJB/Servlet WS implementations
- Learn how to build secure WS and what are SAML, XACML etc.
- Quite a lot questions related to design: REST / asynchronous WS/ design patterns / security
- Few .NET questions: tools & mappings from XSD to code
- Uderstand different styles: document vs rpc: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-whichwsdl/
- I started learning using Ivan's ebook, don't miss external links!
- Mikalai Zaikin tutorial is also very good! Don't miss security section!
- I recommend purchasing Mikalai's quiz, it will show you areas where You have to study more.
- Try to experiment with examples. Write Your own web services, and clients.
- It's very beneficial to play with Handlers
- I was working mostly with Eclipse, except one MTOM example in NetBeans
- Use TCP/IP monitor and soapUI
- Subscribe to this forum. You will find a lot of great posts
- All in all I got impression that exam is focused more on design/interoperability (BP)/architecture than code itself

Mikalai, Ivan and all ranchers, thank You very much! This forum lives and helps a lot!

Cheers!
