Hi,
Just some question on submitting part 2:
1.
According to https://ibt1.prometric.com/index.asp?ibt=7726404070&
I email:
architect-submit_US@oracle.com
However, I also see here: http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/SceaFaq
that it is possible to upload it to the cert manager?
https://www.certmanager.net/
So what do I do?
2.
Also, do you upload your assignment before or after sitting part 3?
Thanks.

The cert manager way isn't used anymore. I'll update the FAQ.
You are supposed to take part 3 first. People have reported success both ways, but the official way is to take part 3 and then submit a tiny bit later.

1) When you buy the assignment, they clearly mention the way to submit - that is email - along with the format and so on.
2) Complete the Part2 design, keep ready the jar and then take up the part 3 exam - come home and email the jar (there are people who have slightly changed the design after taking Part 3)

Part 3 can be done before part 2.
Part 3 questions will ask about the design decisions made in part 2.
I did make modifications in part 2 after completing Part 3. Just mentions the reason why you made the changes in design in part2 if you have mentioned something different in part 3

You must take part 3 first and then submit part 2 jar. I was told by cert team on this.
I gave part 3 and then came home and emailed the JAR. Its been almost 3 weeks but I am still waiting for the final result. Their response said they will take up to 4-6 weeks. So, eagerly waiting for the exam result.
All the best,
Rama

Here is my take on this. I got the Part II voucher before Sun became part of Oracle.
Called oracle at 800.529.0165
They asked me to send the assignment to architect-submit_US@oracle.com
After getting the results of Part II, participate in Part III
But for those who got voucher after the Sun acquisition the below link might be useful

Hi Gopal,
Thats surprising. I was told by CERT team 20 days ago that I must first finish part 3 exam and then submit the assignment. When did you talk to CERT team? If yours was latest info, then they changed the policy lately.
Thanks,
Rama

I recommend re-asking. Part 2 and 3 get graded together. Regardless of which gets submitted first, you cannot pass part 2 without having taken part 3.

Cert team clearly mentioned that part 2 cannot be evaluated until part 3 is done. Hence, they mandated to finish part 3 before doing part 2. May be they should now swap the numbers.
Hope that helps,
Rama

Jeanne.
You are correct. I misstated. It should be, you can submit Part 2 and take Part 3 later.
I made this call the day i posted my comment above.
