Hi All,

I have a simple jsf form in which i need to check the value entered

here is the form





I am not able to get the value entered ( value of the input text called 'myInputText')


any help , am newbie to jsf

I see that your javascript function has an unmatched quote in the find element function. Is that a copy of your actual code?

yes it is the actual code ,

the only thing which was missing is the single quote
