Hi guys, I am trying to get a small application that uses JSF for rendering.
I can't get it to render JSF tags in an .xhtml file properly. However, these tags are properly rendered in an equivalent .jsp file.

Here are the contents of the web.xml file:

The application server I am using is JBoss 5.1.0 GA.
Can anyone provide any pointer as to what could be wrong?

Here are the contents of the register.xhtml file:

Not certain why no one has replied. I had what I think is the same problem. Here's what I ended up adding to faces-config.xml that solved the problem for me. Of course, this depends on the library(ies) you're using too.

I'm working on an article about this at Simple JSF Facelets Project. See what you think.

One reason no on has replied is this person's display name: "Femi Byte".

We don't have many rules here at the JavaRanch, but we do insist that you use your Real Name and not some sort of "handle" or obvious alias. If you're not sure about this, see
http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .

A lot of us simply won't respond until offenders fix their display names.

Ah, okay. That's right. I know about the names, but I didn't even notice it--only the question.
