on a steehorse I ride, I'm wanted dead or alive;-)
I received my oracle mail today:
"Congratulations! You have passed the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Enterprise Architect certification."
the mail contains no information on score or percentage...is this new? some forum members posted their percentage...?
Thanks to all, that answered my dumb questions here, especially jeanne.
Some informations on my part 2 assingment
I used jude-UML and star-UML for the diagrams. Class Diagram and Sequence diagrams with jude-uml, I used the import-java function to create the uml-elements.
I had not much work here, since I coded the application after the raw-design. this way I was sure anything I designed worked well.
For component and deployment diagram Star-Uml is much better in my opinion.
~35 classes in my class-diagrams (without frontend)
~24 boxes in my component diagram
for one sequence diagram (the most complex use-case) I had to references to 2 additional diagrams.
I had no problems understanding the functional requirements. I was working 3 years on a ERP-software. my big-smokes cigar shop covered typical ERP-functionality(sales, shipping, warehouse....).
The only thing I was little worried about, was the fact I omitted most J2EEpattern. I did this on purpose, not because I don't know them.
But in JEE5 (and 6) most of them are obsolet in my opinion. But who knows how the reviewer thinks about this..
