One Year Deadline after downloading assignment? Is it valid

Hi,
I just read on the SCEA FAQ..that there is no concept after the 1 year submission deadline after downloading the assignment..
Can someone please confirm..can you give me a number where i can get some answers? Emails to Oracle/sun dont yeild much..

This info is not valid. The 12 months rule does apply: http://in.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-301A.xml
"Time limit: 12 months from assignment download"

Yes, theoretically, the limit is 12 months from the download.
Unfortunately, the guys from Oracle University have not been able to retrieve the date in which I've downloaded assignment.
I had to use a pessimistic assumption and use the date when I received the mail confirming that I had the right to download the assignment.
