Get directory list from server.

Hi,

How can i get directory list from server.

My url is : http://docmachine/cvs/projecttags, i want to get the list of directory under this url and to connect that user id and password also require.

Can any one help on this?

  • How to find the latest tag using ant script
  • svn list command does not work

  • Or is this totally unrelated to version control systems?

    You're using HTTP so the results returned will be determined by the HTTP server and may or may not include the directory listing. Depending on the server type and configuration it may prevent listing the files and directories, and if it is a virtual directory (ie a server URL that doesn't actually map to a folder on the drive) there may not even be a directory listing available.

    The short answer is that it cannot be done reliably and if you need this functionality then you'll need to make sure it is supported on the server first or write in on the server if you are able.
