Is it possible taht i can access this HtML Page from another System within the network .

(This is not a web application and not running in any server . )

Thanks

Sure, it's possible.

I know you're going to ask how, so I will just suggest the most obvious alternative: create a share on the C:\Practice directory and have the other machines map a drive to that share.

No, using the html: protocol assumes that you are running a web server on the host. Instead, each user mujst connect to that share and then access the file using the file: protocol. For example, assuming the the directory c:\Practice on host MainHost is shared as the share name Stuff, and that a user connected to \\MainHost\Stuff as drive E:, the the user would enter file:///c:/Om.html in the browser. You could also enter file://MainHost/Stuff/Om.html

Surely, it would have been quicker to try it out than asking on the forums and waiting for an answer?

So someone takes the time to try and help you and you snarl at him?
