We have existing application which is running on Tomcat 5.0.x.
In this version, we can able to change the value for request.getRemoteUser() by using "subject.getPrincipals().add(userPrincipal)"

Now we are planning to move our application to Tomcat 5.5.31.

In this new version, we can not able to change the value for request.getRemoteUser() by using "subject.getPrincipals().add(userPrincipal)"

Kindly help me to know, what is behaviour changes in between Tomcat 5.0.* and Tomcat 5.5.31.

If more details required, please let me know.

Thanks in Advance
Vijay
