Hi Bert, I'm scheduled to take the SCJP in a matter of days, and after taking the master exam as well as many other mock exams, I find myself because I will get wrapped up in trying to figure out the "trick" buried in the code but then miss something obvious like calling a non-static method from a static content. Do your practice exams help with developing the discipline of looking for the obvious first?
thanks, Amy

Hi Amy,

I think that somewhere around the ranch someone has put together a sort of loose hierarchy of things to look for when you first encounter an exam question. (You're not the first person to have this issue ).

As far as this new batch of questions are concerned, as always we try to make them just a little bit trickier than the real ones, so while we don't specifically target the weak spot that you mentioned, any good set of questions to practice with should help

hth,

Bert

Hi AmyLou Jones,

It happens but I can say with my experience that after giving a couple of mock test your mind will getting accustomed without even you realize , but for that you need to understand every option of the question in complete and also need to look explanation of those question. believe me it helps and develop discipline and keen observation over period.

All the best

Thanks
Javin

There was, and will be again soon, a kindle version of the book. Right now Amazon is fixing a big bug in the kindle version, but that should be fixed within a couple of days.

As soon as it's fixed, I'll let everyone on this forum know.
