Hi,
I am confused about the prerequisites for Developing Applications for the Java EE 6 Platform (FJ-310-EE6). If I take SCJP 310-065 first then it is not allowed to do FJ-310-EE6?
Btw: how long valid are the new certificates?

The link you provided makes it sound like you have to take SL-275 before you can take this course. To my knowledge (which might be a little out of date), Sun Microsystems seldom enforced such "pre-reqs" for their live classes, but it's possible that that's changed recently, or that Oracle does enforce pre-reqs like this.
In any case, SL-275 is only vaguely associated with the SCJP exam (SL-275 is NOT a pre-req for the exam, nor does SL-275 prepare you for the exam), so I'm going to move this thread.
hth,
Bert

Eliminate fossil fuel subsidies. (If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much room.)

Ou I mixed a course with a certificate, which is good First i thought this one is the new SCJP certificate. Earlier there was a good coloured picture on the sun page with the certificate blocks. Is there any existing now? Can someone post a link please?
