im going to see "the social network" soon i've only read about it and i like movies about programming and computers a lot
so i was just thinking about why not hollywood have made a movie about the development of java and its creator JG ? who
would you like to see play the leading role?
In a world where an overweight, balding man named after infant poultry is revered as a god ...
this is really a cool idea! now we just need a titlle! Its a good idea to cast Larry David in the role as the father Duke
and Johnny Depp in the role as Bill Joy but somewhere along the lone and if i dare too suggest it would be cool to have
Seth Rogen play the role as goz in his younger days.
I wish that hollywood would make more movies about computers and programming in general. If there only was
more movies like Tron, antitrust and the social network. Why can they do a remake of "real genius" ?
Joe Ess wrote:What about a Tucker? What makes a good movie is a good story. Does Java have a good story? If it does, I have yet to hear it. Zuckerberg is what makes the Facebook movie interesting.
Tucker was the name of the con man that started the company. The movie was about good and evil.
The Social Network was about good and evil, arrogance and greed. Zuckerberg vs Winklevoss. While they did spend some effort on making the technical stuff correct (just a quick wget here....) the story is the conflict between the people.
Java is just a computer language, there are zillions of them. New ones are created every month. Most are born, used, and die without notice.
