Thanks to all the nice people here , today I'm informed that I passed the SCJD.
I am a greenhorn who had very little training on programming before. I learn Java by self-learning, that's reading books (including Andrew's great book on SCJD) and reading this forum. From basic Java to SCJP and SCJD, this is such a great forum to me in the sense that
1. people here are very knowledgeable
2. people here are friendly and willing to share
3. it has a massive collection of topics. Most of the time, I could find the answer to my questions by searching the past topics here.
If you are also a greenhorn working on SCJD, please come to JavaRanch more. In my humble opinion, SCJD is not easy, but with the help of all the nice people here, you can learn a lot.
I gotta have a good sleep now and start studying for the SQL Expert exam tomorrow. And once again, thank you Roel, Roberto, Andrew, and all others who contributed in the discussions in JavaRanch.
