I'm currently writting a method to connect to a web service using two way ssl, however there already exists a method to connect via one way ssl.

As my method utlises all of the one way ssl code is there a way of leveraging the one way code combined with the two way code, possibly through the use of interfaces/abstract classess to make the methods eaily used and maintained.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
