Configuring accesslogvalve to log only parts of a site

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can advise me on this.

I have a site running under Apache Tomcat 6.0.29 where the client wants access logs for only a particular portion of the site. specifically the login page.

I understand that the accesslogvalve enables logging for the entire site and all content. Is there a way I can limit this to only the login page (its a known url). I don't want to log everything and then filter the log to send them only the relevant portions as i am sure this would degrade performance for the entire site.

Your advice appreciated in advance.

Cheers,

C.

You don't want an access log valve for this. You want a filter, then you can map it to the URL of the login page.
