Here is your error

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.hibernate.util.ConfigHelper.getResourceAsStream(ConfigHelper.java:167)

When reading exception stack traces that come from Spring Container, always scroll down to the bottom and find the root cause. If you try to read from the top you will get confused.

So Hibernate is trying to load a file getResourceAsStream() throwing a NullPointerException. Look at all the configuration pointing to config files or property files and make sure that those files are there, in that correct directory.

Now this is at runtime, so maybe those files exist in the file system, but they aren't being put into the classpath directory.

thank you for the answer, but all configuration files are in their places... i've added an empty "hibernate.properties" file and my exception was changed by another exception.. now it can't map my resources.. ok, thank you, i'll keep trying ;)

You don't need the hibernate.properties file.

Your error is still not loading one of your external files.

Maybe

<property name="mappingResources">
<list>
<value>/Config/Client.hbm.xml</value>
<value>/Config/Note.hbm.xml</value>
<value>/Config/Contact.hbm.xml</value>
</list>
</property>

Do you need that "/" in front of Config? It should be relative to the classpath, which wouldn't require that "/"
