Java EE 6?

1) I am in the mid way of studying for SCEA 5. I stumbled upon an article which said something about SCEA for version 6. Any idea when is SCEA 6 likely to be available in the market.

2) Is there any prereq. for giving SCEA. I have given SCJP 1.4, SCWCD 1.5, SCBCD 5.

1) It will be a while. Not much changed in JEE 6 that I wold worry about it. Enterprise Architecture isn't that version specific.
2) There are no exam prerequisites.

Enterprise Architecture is not version specific, but SCEA 5 IS! Remember that. Name(SCEA 5) indicates tools which must be used to solve business problem

Although SCEA 5 is version aware its not version specific..let me explain the difference..

None of the questions in the exam deal with API level detals, but you do need to know how JEE 5 feature enhancements as compared to JEE 1.4..and ditto will be when JEE 6 comes strolling...i believe that awareness requires a lighter read than knowing the API's and hence for an exam like SCEA i wouldnt be too worried about SCEA 6 coming along...i would be worried about it for developer exams but not for architecture based exams..

Also note that the little bit of awareness which is present is only restricted to Part 1 as Part 2 and 3 do not have to be retaken when the new version comes along...
