hey can any one help me to get the selected combobox value using jsp

That is not a "combo box". Please read HtmlHasNoComboBox. Proper terminology is an important aspect of programming

Secondly, you should not be submitting to a JSP. Rather, submit forms to servlets for processing, in which you would use the request.getParameter() method to fetch the value of the select element.
