Android developer account

Hello,

Can anyone clarify this question? Do I need to have a Android developer account $25 created in order to test the app on the real device? Otherwise the testing can only be done on an emulator? With a single account or a certificate can I test the app on multiple devices?

Thanks

No, you can install apps on your local device via USB cable; you don't need an account for that. If you pay the 25 bucks you get to publish apps via the Android Market.
