I am attempting to contact a certain film database website in order to scan the html for a film rating and have that fed into my film title program but I get the following exception whilst contacting the server:
Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://www.imdb.com

And do you have a question?

I'm going to answer the question "What does HTTP response code 403 mean?" for now. The Wikipedia article explains it: HTTP 403.

I'm also going to answer the question "Why does imdb.com forbid me from connecting to their site?" Their Conditions of Use page explains it.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
