This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
As far as I know, jspservlets are based on HTTP (Though GenericServlet may handle others too). Have you checked any sample applications that deal with SMS. SMS is completely a different protocol stack. May be there is some readymade api available over internet, which you can use from your servlets (though you can call it from jsp, but it is not recommended to put any java code in jsp)
Thank you fr showing interest in my post
To tell you the truth the problem is still not over I checked the link which you pointed out but the problem is not yet over the javacommunication is mainly for video sending and receiving.
Meanwhile here are the things which I did:
I found out about celltrust and its service www.celltrust.com.I even read its documentation and after that found out that a jar file is missing googled it but could not find it on the net.
The second thing which I found was smsLib but ws still stuck with the problem of missing libraries download link
It would be grateful if you or anyone else could give me a link to readymade api for sending sms and its documentation..........................
Thank you in advance for anyone who could give me a positive reply
Really hat's of to your reply ,I was eagerly waiting for a reply which would make my web app near to its completion.I had googled for this and boggled my mind for hours but you truly came to my rescue.I was just visited the link and would soon be working on it thanks once again.
