I need JProfiler 6.1.4 Documentation

Dear All,

I have installed the JProfiler 6.1.4, but have no idea about it and I need to know how to use it, analyze it and make a report.

Can anyone help me in this please?

When I used "JProfiler" as my web search keyword, the fourth link I got back was this PDF file: JProfiler Manual. Is that what you couldn't find?

270 pages is not enough?

But perhaps you need something which gives examples. The word for that is "tutorial". I would suggest the place to look for such things is on the JProfiler site, but if you can't do that then your google keywords would be "jprofiler tutorial".

Yes its not enough because if you can see, its all about configurations, and to be honest, its not much useful because if you start reading you will be lost after sometime.

Anyway, I tried most of the keywords in google but the problem is that I have no reference in my company and I have to be the master.

Skim through the "getting started" sections and tutorials. It does not take much time to get going using a profiler

At least for 6.2.1, it's very to get setup with JBoss 4.2.1.GA. There is an integration wizard: http://www.ej-technologies.com/products/jprofiler/java-profiler-JEE.html that basically modified my run.bat by adding the following:

The problem for me now is how do I know what to do to find a memory leak, for example? There is some learning/training involved. What about YourKit? Both are commercial. I can't find a good open-source equivalent with decent documentation.
