Do you share my account email with anyone? ie. Is it viewable to forum members or do you sell it or share it?

Hi John

No, we do not sell or share your email address with anyone. The only people who can see your email address are the administrators, and they will only look for it if there is something they must discuss (when the only other alternative is banning a user).

There are some emails that we will send you. For example, you will probably get an email telling you that I have replied to this topic. If you do not want to get such emails, you can turn off the email options in your user profile.

Our privacy statement is very simple. Like you, every single member on this forum is a volunteer (including every single moderator and administrator). We will not do anything that we would not want done to us.

Welcome to the Ranch

I recommend you avoid including addresses etc in posts. But I am sure you know all about that already.

I'm gonna override what andrew said, and replace it with this:

We reserve the right to stare at your email address constantly, non-stop, for all time and ponder over its poetic significance. And we reserve the right to ignore it as if you never existed.

We reserve the right to whore out our mailing list whenever we damn well please. To date, We have never sold or rented or given away any email addresses. And we have no plans to do so in the future.

We reserve the right to send you millions of emails every day. And, at the same time, we really can't think of what we want to say.

So, in summary: we reserve the right to do whatever we want; I really doubt we'll ever sell or rent our mailing list.
