hi,

i've a page with couple of tabs which is in turn part of a template.

the code for the page is as
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
xmlns:p="http://primefaces.prime.com.tr/ui" >
<h:head>
<title>Boostershot Prospect Data Creator</title>
</h:head>

<h:body>
<ui:composition template="layout.xhtml">
<ui:define name="middle">
<ui:include src="toolbar.xhtml"/>
</ui:define>
<ui:define name="left">
<ui:include src="navigmenu.xhtml"/>
</ui:define>

<ui:define name="content">
<h:form id="personal">
<p:focus />
<p:tabView event="mouseover">
<p:tab title="Personal Information">
<p:messages id="msgs" showDetail="true"/>
<h:panelGrid id="grid" columns="3">
<hutputText value="First Name *"/>
<h:inputText label="FirstName" id="fname" value="#{personalBean.firstName}"
required="true"/>
<p:message for="fname"/>

<hutputText value="Middle Name *"/>
<h:inputText label="MiddleName" id="mname" value="#{personalBean.middleName}"

<h:inputText label="Age" id="age" value="#{personalBean.uAge}" />
<p:message for="age"/>

<hutputText value="Sex *"/>
<h:selectOneRadio label="Sex" id="sex" value="#{personalBean.uSex}"
required="true">
<f:selectItem itemLabel="Male" itemValue="male"/>
<f:selectItem itemLabel="Female" itemValue="female"/>

<p:message for="sex"/>

</h:panelGrid>

<p:commandButton value="Save" update="grid" action="addConfirmedUser"/>

</p:tab>

<p:tab title="Add contact information">
<h:panelGrid columns="2" cellpadding="5">
<hutputText value="Home Phone 1: " />
<p:inputMask value="#{contactBean.hphone1}" mask="(999) 999-9999"/>

<hutputText value="Home Phone 2: " />
<p:inputMask value="#{contactBean.hphone2}" mask="(999) 999-9999"/>

<hutputText value="Cell Phone 1: " />
<h:inputText value="#{contactBean.cphone1}" />

<hutputText value="Cell Phone 2: " />
<h:inputText value="#{contactBean.cphone2}" />

<hutputText value="Email: " />
<h:inputText value="#{contactBean.hphone1}" />
</h:panelGrid>

<p:commandButton styleClass="body_text" value="Save"/>

</p:tab>
<p:tab title="Add social networking info">
<h:panelGrid columns="2" cellpadding="5">
<hutputText value="Select social network: " />
<h:selectOneMenu id="sonet" required="true"
value="#{contactBean.sonetwork}" >
<f:selectItem itemLabel="select" itemValue="select"/>
<f:selectItem itemLabel="Youtube" itemValue="YT"/>
<f:selectItem itemLabel="LinkedIn" itemValue="LI"/>
<f:selectItem itemLabel="Twitter" itemValue="TW"/>
</h:selectOneMenu>

<hutputText value="Contact Url" />
<h:inputText value="#{contactBean.sourl}" />

</h:panelGrid>

<p:commandButton styleClass="body_text" value="Save"/>

</p:tab>

</p:tabView>

</h:form>
</ui:define>
</ui:composition>
</h:body>
</html>

the problem is that tab header height gets set to the height of the left navigation menu. The same problem is seen even in the case when the navigation is done using a p:tree.

i've uploaded a snapshot of the problem at

Please help. Stuck with this since morning

TIA
