Hi. I am preparing to SCEA exam. I am using the sugestion found in http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/SceaFaq. I downlowed both the Java EE Tutorial version 5 e 6. I was intended to use only the newer version, but I noticed thar the older one is much longer than newer version. Which one I must use? The answer could easly be version 6 if it covered the same topics. But the version 5 has 1084 pages and it is exactly as the sugestion of CodeRanch has described. The version 6 has just 678 pages. The biggest deferences look to be about Security and Dependency Injection. Which version will be cover by exam? Every article I foun are talking only about version 5. I found excellent article comparing SCJP version but nothing about SCEA yet (http://www.net4java.com/2009/03/difference-between-scjp-5-and-scjp-6.html)

Ps.: Version 5: http://download.oracle.com/javaee/5/tutorial/doc/ and Version 6: http://download.oracle.com/javaee/6/tutorial/doc/

Thanck in advance
Demetrio

Demetrio,
The exam covers JEE 5. I would use the JEE tutorial.

Jeanne, first of all, thanks for your answer. I am just start to study for the exam. Do you have some idea when the Oracle will change from version 5 to 6 in the exam?

Thanks in advance

As it isn't even in beta yet, I expect it to be a long while.
