Hello all...

I need to acces data from an ActionForm using standard JSP code (i.e. scriptlets). From what I understoond I can do something like:

but myForm is null. (I have changed the scope attribute in struts-config.xml to "session"). Should I do this some other way ?

Thank you

Please post your action-mapping for the one you are talking about. That would be helpful to see why the action-form is null.
And mostly people never tend to use scritplets in JSP. And also there would be less need to refer the form-bean using the JSP useBean tag.

Perhaps It would be easy for me to answer precisely, if you would explain what you were trying to do actually.

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go !!!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
