This week's book giveaway is in the General Computing forum. We're giving away four copies of Arduino in Action and have Martin Evans, Joshua Noble, and Jordan Hochenbaum on-line! See this thread for details.
Carol, on the old assignment log (that was replaced with this log), there was a link to a page that explained the meaning of the colors of the assignment list. If possible, would you be able to add that link back to the assignment list?

The colors in the Assignment Log are as follows:
Green: A post within the last 10 days (Recent)
Red: A post between 22 and 30 days old (About to expire)
Amber: On the final assignment of your current section (About to graduate)
It took a little longer due to some technical difficulties but Java-8 is finally completed (and got a brand new, shiny moosehead, too). Moving on to OOP now, assignment to follow.
I'm not sure how soon I'll get to the servlets exercises. With luck it won't be too much of a challenge to do them with Apache, rather than the defunct Orion.
If I didn't get a reply for a week, and no reply to any bugging from my side, I resent the last attempt with a short note to the initial nitpick[at]javaranch[dot]com address

Hi Margaret,
Oh no! And you're so close to moving up a level.
I'd definitely take Stuart's advice and try resending. I know I just did
Yes, I am close and really want to start with the servlets.
I have taken your suggestion and resent to the nickerpicker's address and the general nitpick address.
