Okay, so here is a pristine, new Assignment Log thread. Sorry, but I terminated the old one, so everyone's last post is history. Time to start fresh!

Hey, I'm back again after a brief hiatus, just submitted Java-4b. It was quite a thrill to get that one working!

Carol, on the old assignment log (that was replaced with this log), there was a link to a page that explained the meaning of the colors of the assignment list. If possible, would you be able to add that link back to the assignment list?

The colors in the Assignment Log are as follows:
  • Green: A post within the last 10 days (Recent)
  • Red: A post between 22 and 30 days old (About to expire)
  • Amber: On the final assignment of your current section (About to graduate)

    Hi Carol,

Thanks for your update on the Assignment Log.

    Just thinking ...
... The turnaround for nitpicks on the later assignments is about a week
... And you drop off the "recent" (green) post after three days.

So if you deal with a nitpick during an all-nighter - because that's what you do, isn't it - & submit again, your post goes stale while you're waiting.

Could the "recent" period be extended a bit. (Yes, it really is that important to feel that I'm not being tardy )

Hey--nice work to Kenn Cowling on Java-4B! I think I had two dozen submissions before I got credit for that one.

Cheers! It's been a blast. I'm badly bruised from the nitpicking, but much stronger for it.

Howdy, Drivers! It's been a busy week on the trail. We've seen Mooseheads awarded to Ken and Phil, (hope you have room in your saddlebags!) and let's give a warm welcome to Mike Neumann, our newest Greenhorn. Check out the assignment log, your progress status is up-to-date! See ya out on the trail!
