Trying to post to an external jsp (jsf) service...

Probably a basic question but here's my need.
From my JSF code I have a h:commandButton. When selected I would like to perform an action that redirects to a fully qualified external URL, with post data.
I can, easily perform the redirect from my bean code statically as such:

but I want to pass in parameter information to the target service, so essentially I'd like to do this in a h:form element, but I need the action within the submit button of the form reference this external service and I can' get it to do this.

I've also attempted to pass the parameter information through the URL itself, e.g., :

but the target jsp doesn't recognize the "get" parameter.

I've tried hunting through archives and each plausible solution has come up empty, or worse.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

BTW, I am using RichFaces for my development if this in any way helps.
