Hi Friends,

I Cleared SCWCD with 100% after rigorous studies for 1.5 months.
I would thank all the java ranchers who unknowingly helped me to clear this exam.
I referred to Head First JSP and Servlets by Kathy sierra-second Edition, and read Kunal jaggi's SCWCD Exam Guide with Java EE 5.
I also referred JSP Complete Reference book at times.

for the last 5 days before exam,

I read , Marcus Green's Notes which are Excellent.
Mikalai Zaiken's Notes.
Fredric Esnault's notes covering Head first entirely,!!!

I also studied Frits Walraven: Summary of Study Guide (David Bridgewater) and PeabodyOnScwcdPatterns.

Study example of a very full web.xml -Ashok Kumar Babu and Sample web.xml and TLD by Michael John

All the above mentioned Ranchers Notes Rock!!!

Special Thanks to the Ranchers Notes!!!

What should be my Next target?
Should I go for SCMAD?

Thanks and Regards,
-Pankaj Shet

Congratulations !!!

Great score !!!

Please, note:
1) SCMAD certification is unpopular, so Javaranch merged it's forum with "Other Product certifications"
2) IIRC, SCMAD exam is outdated in terms of specification it tests.

So, go for SCMAD only if your boss wants you to take it, otherwise, you can consider some of JEE6 certifications (JPA, EJB, Web)

Hello everyone,

Thanks for your wishes..
Frits, I did not find anything wrong in notes!!! Your Notes were Fantastic!!!
Mikalai I want to ask about your suggestion regarding JEE6 certifications (JPA, EJB, Web)

The JEE6 certifications (JPA, EJB, Web) are the beta exams am I right?
I think instead of giving those Beta exams, if I go for Mobile certifications or JEE 5 SCBCD or SCJWS 5 full exam then will be better option.
what do you feel?

I think If I give SCMAD I will gain good knowlegde of Mobile Platform too?

please give me some advice regarding the above scenerio?

Pankaj,

It depends on what you need in your daily job.

EJB 3.1 and JPA 2.0 exams are now in production, WebServices exam should be released soon, and then Web technologies exam.
