I am waiting for the new exam OCPJWSD6 to be available and then planning to start preparations for it. However I don't have much hands on experience in EJBs. As surprising as it may be, wanted to know if beginner level proficiency with EJBs is sufficient for web services.
Ideally I would have liked to go for SCBCD certification first and then web services, however my project doesn't use it so couldn't justify it. Please let me know if beginner level proficiency is okie for webservice 6 certification. I would also say that I am okay at webservices so I know the risk of aiming too high but I am ready to put everything I have got to prepare for this certification.
SCJP 1.4 90%, SCWCD5 94%, Next SCDJWS--> In Naescent stage. Researching abt exam and material itself.
I don't know about the OCPJWSD 6 certification specifically, but in general you should know that EJBs are managed components.
I think the most important aspects are concurrency (which is managed by the EJB container) and security (which can be more fine-grained compared to servlet-based web services).
