Hi all,

I need capture video from java. I have a QuickCam Communicate STX web-camera.

I tried two ways:

First, using JMF (Java media framework). I downloaded it, installed and set paths:

now, when I write java JMStudio, show window with JMStudio, but when I can open video file, not play anything
If click into capture button, my webcane start working, but on monitor I only see black window with any horizontally lines

If open mov video file:

if open mp4 video file:

What's wrong?

Second, I tried FMJ (freedom for media in java), a installed it. It's a java native library.
Video play quite good, but when I try capture, show this: (from fmjstudio-linux-x86.sh)

Do you know, what it mean?

Many thanks. Sorry for my English.
