How do we calculate the 3 calendar month ?. For example ,

If a employee resign from a organisation on 29 th November 2010. Is last working day is calculated on 3 calendar months?.

The java.util.Calendar class has useful methods for adding/subtracting days/weeks/month/etc..

You are better off using an up to date API: try here, or google for "joda time".
