Is Griffon mature/complete enough for production?

I am evaluating Griffon now. One thing I noticed is that in the Griffon mailing list archive, the latest thread was dated June 24th, 2010, which was almost 8 months ago. That seems to me not much is going on with Griffon. Anyone has idea what's going on with Griffon?

I've pinged a couple of the Griffon folks and let them know about this thread.

Hello Tong,

Thank you for your interest in Griffon. I can assert you that the project is alive and well as shown by
1) The number of releases made in the last 12 months (we even released 0.9.2-rc1 one week ago!)

2) The number of messages in the mailing lists

3) The number of Griffon links posted and voted at DZone

4) Almost every Java/Groovy conference in 2010 had a Griffon talk and there are more lined up for 2011 (I just came back from Spring I/O Madrid where a Griffon talk had good acceptance based on Twitter reactions posted by attendees and hallway chatter).

5) The development team welcomed two new members: Rene Gröschke and Alexander Klein.

New plugins are added every single month too. The development team is preparing for releasing 0.9.2 final very soon.
You're more than welcome to give Griffon a try and swing by the mailing lists or twitter (@theaviary) should you need assistance (JavaRanch too!).

I agree. Here's the link:

It's not a secret anymore!
