Does anyone know how to set a timer on a computer? On a TV, sometimes there is a timer function which you can use to turn off the TV automatically at a certain time. Is there some kind of timer function on a computer, that is, can you set it so that the computer shuts down automatically at a certain time? Or at least have one program quit at a certain time?
In case anyone asks, I need this one to keep my kids from using the computer too long.

What operating system are you using? This would vary by operating system. Also, I think there is software you can use that will take care of this for you. It also can block certain websites if you want.
