Hi Guys,

we have a lot of printers configured in our application. we used to fire prints from our application. recently we have added a new printers. from the code wise we have not done anything. just added the " ID, Paper size, Hostname and ALIAS " in database. this is from our code side..

The server team needs to configure the printer in vortex server. by using our code we will create a connection in vortex server and send our print documents to the printer.

But we are not able to fire prints.

as i come to know the printer ID should be mentioned in the vortex server for that printer. Let me know if you have any idea.

Thanks

I don't think you're going to be very lucky here. We don't have many rules here at the JavaRanch, but we do insist that you use your Real Name and not some sort of "handle" or obvious alias. If you're not sure about this, see http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .

You'll get answers a lot faster if you use a real display name.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
