Test suite dependeny

We have created 2 test suits of which one test suite sets up the required data for the execution of test cases in other test suite.

Now my requirement is if the test suite 1 is successful only then I want to execute test suite 2.

Can any one tell me the right approach to accomplish this ?

In TestNG, you can set up this dependency explicitly. In JUnit, you could write your own suite collector. Or use @BeforeClass to set up the data rather than a separate test suite.
