How is this book for a non-CS student ? Is it the same as "Data structure and algorithms in java" also by robert lafore ?
Any shortcomings that you noticed in the book ?
I want a book that uses java instead of c++ to teach data structures. The above book says :
"The only prerequisite for using this book is a knowledge of some programming lan-
guage. Although the sample code is written in C++, you don’t really need to know C++
to follow what’s happening. The text and Workshop applets will give you the big picture.
