Hi all,
So you can now have a stable Java 7 experience with the latest developer preview build and NetBeans 7.0 Beta 2. There is a variety of instructions to support various platforms and so I apologise for the blog post linkages but for those who are interested you can install the latest JDK 7 build and get it running with Netbeans. I haven't run across any bugs yet and am already enjoying splitting up my large numbers with the _ character

I've made some RFE's at Jetbrains (for IntelliJ) and they've already implemented some (such as binary integral literals, underscores in numeric literals and the diamond operator). They are still working on multicatch/Automatic Resource Management/safe re-throw.
