There is any java API to to validate IP6 and IP4 Address?

I have 2 type (IP4 and IP6) Address data,which are
IP4 : "188.8.131.52" format
IP6: "1080:0:0:0:8:800:200C:417A" format.
I wonder if there is any
API to validate them? so I don't have to write a code to it using StringTokenize.

Take a look at the
class, in java.net.*.
