I am preparing for OCPJP 1.6..I started taking the Examlab's exams..
My doubt is i have seen for the real Oracle exam there will be 60 qs..but in Examlab each exam contains 72 qs..and passing score is 65%.Why is like that ?
and i have read that if we get 60% in Examlab we can score around 90 % in the real exam...is this 60 % score they are mentioning with respect to the examlab's final exam with 72 qs ?

thanks ..
Manju ..

There were a host of changes made to the exam. The authors do not have time to make updates sometimes to their software. But as long as the quality of the questions help you learn something you can use in the real exam, you will benefit from the software.

The general thumb rule is that if you can score more than 60% on a tough mock exam simulator, you can pass the real exam.

How tough an exam is can be determined by the average score that folks get on that particular exam. If you score a few % above the average, then it is safe to consider that you are making progress. The average exam taker is pretty determined and sharp. Any exam / test whose average user score is 60% or lesser can be considered tough.
