Howdy,

There was a mistake from Oracle, when they called new JEE6 exams "Oracle Certified Professional".

According to official Oracle certification blog, all JEE6 certifications give title of "Expert" not "Professional".

CodeRanch uses something like:

Web Component Certification (SCWCD/OCPJWCD)

It should be renamed to

Web Component Certification (SCWCD/OCEJWCD)

Best regards,
MZ

Odd. I just checked their certification program, and it only mentions Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer. No JEE6 available there yet.

It appears that just this week this exam has been replaced by the new "Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 JavaServer Pages and Servlet Developer Certified Expert Exam". That's definitely no longer OCPJWCD but also not OCEJWCD - it's no longer "Web Component Developer" but "JavaServer Pages and Servlet Developer". So what would that make you, OCEJSPSD? Jeez... I'm glad I'm still an original and simple SCWCD.

Rob,

You can check this page

All of four JEE6 certifications are still considered in "beta", however one of them - 310-093 already in production and beta score sheets were sent.

I'd vote in favor of getting rid of these new abbreviations.

That's probably why it doesn't show up on the main page. I did manage to find it before but I had to click around a few times.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
