Enabling and disabling components via select checkbox

Just like the title says when I check boolean checkbox i want component to be enabled, when i uncheck it i want it to be disabled. This is something i have wrote but its not working:

Silly mistake - event is actually change, and i put change(), like I am calling a function. I ve been programming whole day now, i should really call it a day. Sorry for wasting your time.
