I can't edit any of my posts. What happened?

EDIT: I can edit this for some reason. Does it get locked after a specific amount of time/posts?

We have had problems with people removing large amounts of the opening post in a thread; this makes the answers incomprehensible and we set a time limit after which ordinary users can't edit their posts. I can't remember what the current time limit is.
If you have something specific you wish to edit after the timeout, you can ask one of us mods.
And we usually discuss this sort of thing in the "RO" forum, so I shall move you there. I hope Rob Jelle and Roberto don't mind.

No. Anybody can post here. It is where we discuss ranch policy, etc. It is where you are posting at present.
We do have a "Moderators Only" forum, but it is hidden where you can't see it.

No, Campbell is sometimes worried that by "taking over" forums from other people he offends them. He's not offending me though, if I'm not here and something needs to be done any bartender / sheriff is free to help me out.
