SCBCD 5 with SCJP 1.4?

is it possible to take the SCBCD 5 exam with a SCJP 1.4 certification? On the Oracle website it states that SCJP ANY edition can be used as prerequistite, but other websites say it is either the SCJP 5 or 6 certification is prerequisite.
