I can't access Sun's free mock exam questions

I have registered with them and logged in, and I still can't access the demo questions. Does anyone know anything about it?

You can use the following link to access 10 free question on Java Associate certification by Oracle:

Please remove the blanks between letters p, l and s. Javaranch's check on using abbreviations didn't spare this URL! :-)

I am trying to do them now, but I don't seem to be able to see the exhibits (pictures). That's a shame, because then I can't do some of the questions.

Another quick question: in the real exam, do you get the objective that the question is covering written above each question, like in the Sun/Oracle example?

No. The exam objective covered by a particular question isn't specified in the real certification exam.
