javax.naming.CommunicationException: Receive timed out [Root exception is java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Receive timed out]
at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.discoverServer(NamingContext.java:1630)
at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.checkRef(NamingContext.java:1759)
at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:680)
at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:673)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.lookup(InitialContext.java:392)
at MyBeanClient.main(MyBeanClient.java:19)
Caused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Receive timed out
at java.net.PlainDatagramSocketImpl.receive0(Native Method)
at java.net.PlainDatagramSocketImpl.receive(PlainDatagramSocketImpl.java:136)
at java.net.DatagramSocket.receive(DatagramSocket.java:712)
at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.discoverServer(NamingContext.java:1600)
... 5 more

I'd really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

I would assume you missed some step or configuration..

Did you try the tutorial provided on the link mentioned by you?

Yes I followed the steps from the tutorial and all were successful except for testing the client.
