I'm looking at

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html

and I have already download and installed the plain j2SE. What do I download now if I want to try out the JavaFX code at http://wordpress.transentia.com.au/wordpress/2009/04/26/java-groovy-javafx/?

If I download the JavaFX option at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html will it mess up my current installation? Will it write on top of my current J2SE installation? Can I just download JavaFX? How do I do that?

What are the compile and run commands to try out the javafx scribble program at http://wordpress.transentia.com.au/wordpress/2009/04/26/java-groovy-javafx/?

Thanks!

I've been trying to click on the download button for JavaFX for two days now and the oracle server seems to be down!

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Now it is true that I have been having some networking issues but I thought I had those resolved.

Can anyone else download JavaFX?

Thanks!
Siegfried
