Hi,
I am looking for a java caching api that can scale to upto 10K items. Any recommentations/tips?

10K is a pretty small number (unless the items are so big that you're running into memory issues - but those would happen with all caches). Have you tried one and it didn't scale? The http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/CachingStrategies page lists a few of the options.
