Being relatively new, is Shale ready for production?

Given the fact that the only download you can get is the nightly builds, and there is no official release 1.0 yet, I'd say the answer is no.

Unless... you're a bleeding edge developer who enjoys the thrill of having the latest and greatest and is willing to take the risk the technology may go a completely different direction, and are willing to accept the fact that you're going to be uncovering a lot of bugs.
